In the video, Shields, 57, was sitting in the car with her daughter, Rowan Henchy, 19, who was trying to replicate the viral trend where one person reaches into the backseat for a bag, which they use to lightly hit the other person in the head while pretending they didn’t realize it. Usually, the person gets away with a few hits before the other one eventually figures out what’s going on. But in Shields’ version, her daughter grabbed her bag from the backseat while barely hitting her mom with the straps on the bag before turning to put it back and smacking the actress in the face. The whack was definitely much harder than she had planned, as Henchy immediately grabbed her mom’s shoulder to see if she was okay while Shields held her mouth. The mother-daughter duo then both burst into laughter, while the Endless Love star still appeared to be wincing in pain and touching her mouth. “Are you bleeding?” Henchy asked through laughter while Shields questioned, “Did you mean to do this?” When Henchy admitted that it was on purpose, Shields appeared completely shocked. “That’s an a—–e move!” she said. “What do you have in your bag? I’m going to have a fat lip!” Shields added, while her daughter continued to laugh. “Apparently it’s a trend for kids to hit their parents with their bags?!” Shields wrote alongside the video which was comically captioned, “And all this after I gave her life 😂.” “Danggg you’re not supposed to hurt them, sheesh girl 😂😂😂😂,” one person commented on the video. “My mom would not have let me seen another day if i did that LMAO,” another wrote. “Mom is a good sport! That speaks to their good relationship. 🥰,” someone else added. Shields—who is also mom to 16-year-old daughter Grier—is definitely her kids’ number one fan, as she is constantly posting content about her two girls. Back in August, Shields opened up about her eldest daughter leaving for her sophomore year of college, which she described as a “painful” experience “It’s so hard, I miss her already. Our babies. This is what you want. You raise them so that they leave you,” she said in a TikTok video while crying. Earlier this week, the Pretty Baby star posted a tribute to her two girls on Instagram in honor of National Daughters Day, writing, “My pride and joy. My whole heart. My girls. Happy #nationaldaughtersday.” More News:
