During an appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live on Thursday, Dec. 1, the longtime actress was asked about her worst on-screen kiss, and she couldn’t help but give her brutally honest answer. “Shall I really name names here?” the 76-year-old asked, to which Cohen replied, “I think you should.” “OK, this is gonna be a shocker. Hold on, folks,” the Forrest Gump alum teased before naming none other than her former co-star and late ex-boyfriend, Burt Reynolds. “I tried to look the other way and say, ‘Well, that was just then,’” she added of Reynolds, who she met on set of the 1977 film Smokey and the Bandit. “But it was just not something he really did very well.” “I could go into detail, but you don’t want to hear it,” she added of her kisses with the actor—who was widely considered a sex symbol during his prime—although the Bravo host clearly disagreed and urged her to spill more of the tea about the actor’s skills. “The tongue?” Cohen probed, to which the Mrs. Doubtfire actress said the “[The tongue was] not totally involved,” but instead, “a lot of drooling was involved.” The shocking and juicy revelation prompted a roar of “ooos” from the audience, while Cohen thanked Fields for giving a candid answer. “Just for you,” she added to the TV personality. Field dated Reynolds on and off from 1976 to 1982, and starred in four movies with him prior to his death at age 82. Following Reynolds’ passing, the Back Roads star made a statement to Page Six, revealing that she will always remember her time with Reynolds. “My years with Burt never leave my mind,” she said at the time. “He will be in my history and my heart, for as long as I live. Rest, Buddy.”
